We’re hiring: Account Manager at Donald’s Fine Foods
Most account manager roles are order takers with a nicer title. This one isn’t.
At DFF, Customer Service handles order entry. That frees you up to do the job that actually moves the business: owning the commercial relationship with some of our most important customers on Mitchell Island.
Many of our customers do business in Mandarin or Cantonese. If you speak either, you’ll have a real edge.
What you’ll do
- Run an assigned portfolio of established, complex, and strategically important accounts
- Build account plans and lead business reviews built on real numbers: sales, gross profit, volume, service, and claims
- Forecast demand and make sure Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service know what’s coming
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and programs inside clear guardrails, and protect margin while you do it
- Take ownership when things go sideways, from service failures and claims to overdue receivables
- Spot growth: new products, new locations, more share of wallet
What we’re looking for
- 4 to 7 years in account management, food sales, wholesale distribution, or foodservice and retail sales
- Meat, protein, or perishable experience strongly preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a definite asset
- Someone who reads a P&L and understands delivered cost, mix, and what a “yes” costs the plant
- A real influencer who gets things done across Ops, FSQA, Finance, and Logistics without any of them reporting to you
- Strong negotiation, forecasting, and presentation skills
- Comfort with CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office

- Salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year
