Prime Potions is a boutique, high quality manufacturer of personal care products. We create a wide range of skincare, body care and hair care from lab concept creation to manufacturing and preparation products for ship ready goods to our customers.
We are looking for an experienced Production Batcher/ Compounder for a position ASAP. This ideal candidate would have experience and extensive knowledge in small to large scale execution and batching production of personal care product in all areas.
Job description is as follows and the ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
This position requires a physically fit person that likes working in a high paced environment. This position requires technical knowledge of cosmetic raw materials in the personal care industry as well as a person that enjoys a manufacturing setting that requires them to be on their feet. The ideal candidate fits the profile with a related background in chemistry, chemical engineering, and or raw materal processing. -Previous experience in a manufacturing and preferably in the cosmetic industry.
-Batching/Compounding of large production formulas in a related field.
-Personal care formulation experience an asset, or related field
-knowledge to perform stability studies and scale up lab formulations to large production ready formats and procedures.
-Knowledge of Health Canada and GMP standards.
-Advanced understanding of Google Suite and Excel.
-Inventory maintenance and familiarity with production and raw materials an asset.
-Some experience working in a warehousing/manufacturing setting.
-The ideal should be a good multitasker and hand have excellent time management.
-*Must have ability to work for extended an extended period of time on their feet and safely able to lift heavy (50lbs).
