Can my dog run off leash anywhere in those parks?
No. Off-leash privileges apply only within designated areas. The city excludes children's playgrounds, school grounds and sports fields. A large park name on the list does not make the entire site leash-optional.

Must my dog have a current licence?
Yes. Up-to-date dog licence tags are part of the published off-leash conditions. A dog-area visit does not replace Delta's registration and identification requirements.

How many dogs may an ordinary visitor bring?
The general rule is no more than two dogs per person. Delta describes a separate commercial dog-walking policy at North 40 Park Reserve, with its own terms rather than a citywide exception.

Are aggressive or legally restricted dogs exempt from the rules?
No. The page says aggressive dogs are not allowed and dogs legally required to remain leashed and muzzled must continue to do so. An off-leash designation does not override those restrictions.
